С моите
единадесетокласници дискутирахме по темата за мандалите – какво представляват
те и тяхното приложение в съвременния живот. Ето едно тяхно мнение:
The word Mandala means "circle". A Mandala represents wholeness, a cosmic
diagram reminding us of our relation to infinity. Mandalas are circular designs
symbolizing the notion that life is never ending.
I coloured this mandala to see clearly what I should do
in order to grow and develop my own potential.
I like all colours. They are wonderful and I think
that each colour means something.
Colouring this mandala I started with pink. Pink is my
favourite colour and it also means mildness, beauty and calmness. I think pink
also symbolizes love and affection. Then I chose blue. Blue is loyalty, trust
and power. But blue sometimes means sadness when we say “We are blue”, it means
“We are sad”. Then there comes green. Green always means “nature” for me. I
connect green with life.
The next colour I chose is yellow. Yellow is the
colour of the sun and the light that comes from it. It also means intelligence
though some people connect it with madness. My next colour is red. Red is a
strong colour according to me, and I connect it with power and energy. Red is
also health, and that’s why we tie red and white martenitsas at the beginning of
spring. And I finished my mandala with orange. Orange is a fresh colour. It
means fun for me.
No matter what colour we choose, I think all colours
can add some shades to our mood. Colours make our life interesting – the world
would be rather grey without colours.
